Weekly Photo Challenge: Close Up
While in Barbados I went out one fresh morning to take some up close photos of the flowers in the garden.
I used a wide aperture to blur the background. Some of the shots worked out well.
This delicate flower looks much larger than life in a macro shot.
Another tiny flower that you wouldn’t notice if you walked past. The petals are not much bigger than the water droplets on the leaf below.
It took some time to get the camera set up right with manual settings and then get the right part of the shots in focus. It was worth it though I think. 🙂
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Close Up.”
“So this week, get up close and personal with your subject — whether it’s the pollen on a newly bloomed flower, rust on an old fence, or water droplets left by a storm — and capture those tiny, fascinating details that might go unnoticed.”
